TPS Alumni Approved Paper Planners for 2017

November 23, 2016

We’re finishing up our series on time management with a roundup of alumni's favorite paper planners because sometimes we need to get offline to stay on track. As 2017 approaches, here are three paper planners that we’ll be adding to our wish list.

The Day Designer by Whitney English

Julia Browning, our Committed Program mentor, and  TPS Alumni loves the Day Designer by Whitney English, a business coach, and strategist. The Day Designer is “a yearly strategic planner and daily agenda for creative entrepreneurs, business women, and working mommas everywhere” which means it’s right up our ally. This planner comes with eight different worksheets that help you keep track of the big picture while prompting you to break it all down into actionable daily tasks. This planner helps you stay on track with monthly planner pages, weekly planner pages, and daily planner pages. The Day Designer is printed on luxe weight, ecru paper and is bound with brass-finished spiral binding and has a hardcover and hardback, so it’s durable enough to stand up to the wear and tear of our busy lives.

The Passion Planner

When stylepreneur, Ironman triathlete, mom of three, and Committed Alumni, Elaine Yu, told us her favorite planner was the Passion Planner we listened up. Like the Day Designer, the Passion Planner helps the user stay on track and encourages them to pursue their goals and dreams by acting “as a compass they can use to guide their daily decisions. It's simple. You ask yourself: Is what I am going to do today going to get me closer to my goals? Yes? Do it. No? Don't do it.” We love the mindfulness this planner encourages, and we also love that the Passion Planner website provides free printable to personalize your tracking goals in areas like meal planning, budgeting, and cultivating new habits (and lots of others).

Russell + Hazel Binder System

If you are more into a build-it-yourself system that appreciates a sleek minimalist design, the Russell + Hazel Binder System is for you. We learned about this system from alumni Natalie Tincher who turned a few other alumni onto this system, and they love it too. The binder system allows you to purchases the binder and all the inserts separately so you can customize your system and use it as a notebook with individual page inserts that are great for taking notes at client styling appointments and a maintaining your calendar.  Russell + Hazel also makes some beautiful office supplies so be sure to check them out if you're looking to splurge on some office pretty in the new year.

We’re getting ready to make some big program announcements so if you want in on our early bird promotions for 2017, be sure to get on our newsletter list here.
